In April 2026, I had the pleasure of working as the unit still photographer on the New Orleans leg of Frisco King for Paramount+.

Filming in New Orleans always brings a special kind of energy, and this shoot was no exception. The show features Samuel L. Jackson ( and Sylvester Stallone), whose focused, professional, and grounded presence immediately set the tone on set. He was an absolute pleasure to work with.

As usual, my job was to capture not only the key scenes but also the in-between moments and behind-the-scenes footage—most importantly, the dynamic collaboration between Emmy-nominated director/producer/cinematographer Christina Alexandra Voros and the talent.

The undisputed highlight was a long overnight shoot in the French Quarter. The streets were buzzing with revelers, turning every frame into a challenge of timing, composition, and patience. Cutting through the constant movement to find clean, cinematic moments was tough, but incredibly rewarding. I walked away with some of my favorite images from the entire project.

New Orleans proved once again how powerfully a location can elevate the visuals. Between the electric atmosphere of the French Quarter at night and the commanding presence of Samuel L. Jackson, this leg of the shoot produced some truly standout work.
